Boyton Farm is a family run mixed farm, growing grain and grass for their dairy and beef cows, sheep and the famous Tamworth pigs.

Set in the beautiful West Wiltshire Downs recently named as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the farm runs along the Wylye Valley in the north, to Great Ridge Wood in the south. The pigs really are Boyton Farm's pride and joy, being the oldest herd of pedigree pig in the country.

Conservation is high on our agenda. Along side the Tamworth pigs the unique habitat provided by the chalk downland is grazed appropriately by our livestock in order to maintain the rich fauna and flora. For more information on the Farm, please visit www.boytonfarm.co.uk

At the Ginger Piggery you will find the farm butchery, The Trough restaurant and art centre, all housed in the converted old Piggery with first class facilities, including ample parking, loos, and very good disabled access throughout.

Members of the public can buy the meat from animals raised on Boyton Farm and other locally sourced food, whilst enjoying the various active workshops in the Tamworth Studios and arts & crafts in the Black Barn Gallery.

Farm tours for all ages are also available to book. You can see how the animals are reared in an ethical and sustainable way to produce the meat sold in the farm shop.
